A dramatic hip hop theatre interpretation of the epic Irish tale.
The city is the state, the tribes collide, a hero emerges.
The legend of Cuchulainn and Queen Maeve is set in the present, in the simmering underworld of urban turf wars. Fired by passion and pride, Cuchulainn seeks to defend his territory at all costs. In this explosive reimagining of the ancient story, there are scores to be settled, sacrifices to be made and the ultimate prize to be claimed.
This spectacular production combines physical theatre and urban art forms with stunning performances by a cast of international, national and local hip hop theatre artists, to a searing soundtrack by MC duo Icarus Rising.
