Founded in 2018, the Talent Gathering is Scotland's newest conference dedicated to HR, Learning and Talent Professionals that brings together colleagues from across the Scottish community to connect, learn and share while hearing from a wonderful array of speakers.

On Thursday 3rd October 2025 the Talent Gathering returns to Scottish Gas Murrayfield , where out speakers will share their thoughts and opinions on all things learning and talent.

Joining us for the Talent Gathering 2025 are;

Donald H Taylor, returns to Murrayfield to host the 2025 gathering, a veteran in the fields of learning and development and learning technologies, with experience at every level from design and delivery to chairman of the board.

A recognised commentator and thinker in the fields of workplace learning and supporting technologies, Donald is committed to helping develop the learning and development profession. From 2010 to 2021, he chaired the Learning and Performance Institute.

A core part of Donald’s commitment to the profession is what he calls ‘creating spaces for meaningful conversations’. To support this, he has chaired the Learning Technologies Conference in London since 2000, hosted its bi-weekly webinar programme since 2007, and contributed to conferences world-wide. His annual L&D Global Sentiment Survey, running since 2014, attracts responses from thousands of respondents in over 100 countries.


Amy Brann is the Founder and Director of Synaptic Potential and a specialist in helping organisations unlock their people’s potential through neuroscience. She is well-known as a keynote speaker, author, and people development expert. Her approach is grounded in facts, providing a trusted voice amidst a world filled with questionable science and neuromyths. Amy firmly believes that understanding the brain is essential to achieving full potential in both life and work. Her blend of scientific insight and real-world business experience equips audiences with practical, proven frameworks that enhance brain performance. Natal Dank is the Co-Founder of PXO Culture, which offers learning, coaching and consultancy and specializes in people experience, HR and business agility. She is also Chief Trendwatcher at the HR Trend Institute and was named one of the Most Influential HR Thinkers by HR Magazine. Recognized as a pioneer of Agile in the people profession, Natal hosted the first London-based Agile HR Meetup in 2016, which has since grown into a global movement reshaping the L&D and people profession. In 2020, Natal published Agile HR: Delivering Value in a Changing World of Work and in 2024 followed up with Agile L&D: A Toolkit to Improve Organizational Learning and Drive Performance.

Joining Donald, Amy, Darren and Natal will be a selection of Senior Learning, Talent and HR Leaders from a range of organisations and sectors to share their experiences and stories of leading Learning, Talent and HR teams.
