The Talkies: Women of Tudor House
Event Information
About this Event
For March's 'Talkies', we're celebrating Women's History month with a look at some of the girls and women who've lived and worked in Tudor House over the centuries. We start in the Tudor period, looking at what it was like to be the wife of a well-to-do broadcloth merchant, travel to the eighteenth century to visit some of the Cross Keys' landladies and end in the Victorian period, when Tudor House was home to working-class women who worked hard in various industries - and occasionally came before the courts!
The talk is delivered four times on the following dates / times:
- Wednesday 3rd March @ 2pm
- Thursday 4th March @ 6pm
- Friday 5th March @ 11am
- Saturday 6th March @ 2pm
Book a ticket for the talk you would like to attend, and a Zoom link will be emailed to you. Any questions contact anna@tudorhouse.org.uk
