Event description

Description

For the avid dinner party host or collector of dining stars, the world of wine is now well charted. From poussin to poached pear, tajines to terrines, many of us now make pairings with total confidence. But what for the tipple before and after? We often lean on old favourites to kick off or cap an evening (or keep it going), but there’s plenty more to aperitifs and digestifs than bubbles, mixers and the old reliables revisited for special occasions.

Join The Telegraph as we present Aperitifs and Digestifs, a bold, fresh look at the the flavours and combinations of cognac, armagnac, liqueurs, bitters, vermouth and there discovered flavours and aromas of sherry.

Friday, October 13, at One Whitehall Place London

Our hosts will guide you through exciting new takes on old favourites, new combinations and exciting flavours that are the perfect accompaniments for a brilliant night out, or in.
