Course overview

This course helps delegates to further their understanding of complex trauma and discover psychologically -informed approaches to providing timely and effective therapeutic support. Based on the Refugee Council’s therapeutic service, the course facilitates professional sharing via delegate experience and relevant Refugee Council case studies, with a focus on unaccompanied children.

Course suitability

Anyone with mental health or therapy responsibilities for separated children, for example counsellors & psychotherapists, psychologists, GPs, SENCOs/Education Inclusion staff.
