Join us at Southwark Cathedral for Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer.

Within the context of this Choral Evensong the Bishop of Southwark, the Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, will install Canon Wendy Robins as Canon Chancellor. In recognition of Canon Robin’s leadership of the diocesan link with the Anglican Church in Zimbabwe this service will be live-streamed to enable our sisters and brothers in Zimbabwe to join us for the service.

You will be able to download the order of service in advance of coming to the Cathedral or from the QR code which will be displayed on arrival. As an alternative you might wish to bring your own Book of Common Prayer.

Various measures are in place to mitigate against the effects of Covid-19 including distanced seating and hand sanitisers. In addition, there is no congregational singing. But you are assured of a warm welcome and we look forward to seeing you.

From Saturday 8 August it is mandatory that visitors and members of the congregation must wear a face covering unless you have been exempted.
