Event description

Description

With traditional publishing revenues falling and most self-published/independently published authors earning more than their traditional counterparts, is it a foregone conclusion that you should look to self-publish? Not necessarily. The Blonde Plotters have experienced both sides of the marketplace and are able to talk through the pros and cons of being traditionally or self-published. One size does not fit all so if you are writing a book and want to know what will be the best business option for you, come along for a practical talk on what it will take to become a successful author.

The Blonde Plotters consists of three Jersey authors, Kelly Clayton, Gwyn GB and Deborah Carr who also writes under the name, Georgina Troy. The trio write romance, romantic suspense and thrillers. Kelly Clayton: Blood in the Sand and Blood Ties. Gwyn GB: Islands and Lonely Hearts (summer 2017), Deborah Carr: Broken Faces and as Georgina Troy: Summer Sundaes (summer 2017) and the Jersey Scene series.

Jersey Library is pleased to present this event as part of the Jersey Festival of Words 2017.
