Admired ‘Playschool’ presenter, actress, author, singer, business woman, politician and patron of British charity Transplant Links Community (TLC) Baroness Floella Benjamin will open an exclusive charity artwork exhibition with a twist on the evening of the 14th October 2016 to raise funds for TLC. The exhibition will be open in the Bell Room at the Landmark Arts Centre Art Fair in Teddington.
The collection has been especially commissioned by Baroness Benjamin to raise funds for TLC and includes contributions from top artists Sir Quentin Blake CBE, Yinka Shonibare MBE RA, Sir Peter Blake CBE, Anthony Frost, other Royal Academicians, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition Finalists, as well as other influential individuals including Dame Judi Dench, Joan Armatrading MBE, Harry Hill and Baroness Benjamin OBE herself, who will be creating a painting of the much loved Humpty from BBC TV’s Play School.
All artworks will be displayed for viewing until the 16th October 2016 and the public will have the chance to own these special pieces by bidding for the artworks online.
