The Trinity Network Seminar Series presents new and exciting research on the 15th.c Trinity Collegiate church, altarpiece and hospital
About this event
The Trinity Network is expanding on its recent international virtual symposium with a series of collaborative and interdisciplinary seminars. Thought-provoking new research will be presented on all aspects of the Trinity Collegiate Chapel, Trinity Hospital and Trinity Altarpiece in Edinburgh and an outward-looking 15th-century Scottish culture. We will be exploring art, architecture, music, queenship, social networks, manuscripts and, for the first time, late medieval hospitals. Each session will last for approx 75 minutes, divided between speakers and discussion where your questions and contributions will help us solve problems and move our scholarship forward. A Zoom link for the sessions will be sent to you. Our wider aim is to raise awareness of the continuing cultural importance of Mary of Guelders’ royal Trinity foundation and to secure an appropriate future for the Trinity Apse.
