Discover the truth about the impacts of fast fashion and the global problem of textile waste with this free screening of The True Cost film, which features input from Designer Stella McCartney, Journalist Lucy Siegle and EcoAge founder Livia Firth.
This movie is essential viewing for anyone with an interest in climate change, fashion or the planet’s future.
Belfast City Council will facilitate this event and Siobhan Purnell, Tackling Textiles Coordinator at Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, will speak about the local angle regarding textile waste and programmes she is developing to help keep textiles out of landfill.
