The True Cost Film Screening and Exhibition of Ethical Fashion
Wed 26 April 2017, 18:00 – 20:00 BST
Winchester Fashion Week at the University of Winchester
The True Cost (92 mins, Dir. Andrew Morgan) is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story behind the clothes we wear and the people who make them, and asks us to consider: who really pays the price for our clothing?
Alongside the screening, a small exhibition features upcycled dresses by ethical designer Mia Nisbet; archive film footage from the Wessex Film Archive; fashion creations by Winchester Oxfam’s Oxcyclers and more.
Join us from 6pm for an informal drinks reception and a chance to enjoy the exhibition before the screening at 6.30pm.
