Event description
Want to be more creative? Want to do something for you? Meet people? Improve your imagination? Laugh? Improv does all that.

About this Event

We can bang on about how working your imagination has lots of positive effects on all sorts of different areas of your life, but in the end it's fun. It's satisfying to do. It gives you a sense of achievement. Creating gives you a buzz like nothing else.

Improv has a lot in common with sport. It's good for you. It's good for your cognitive health. It trains memory and attention. It's healthy. It's an investment in your future mental health. It's also fun. It's sociable. It's also a huge, huge laugh.

Improv is a collaborative art. It's not standup. You win at improv when you make other people look fabulous. You're working together, supporting each other in a team to create something. You're lifting each other and, as you do, you will find yourself being lifted.

Our teachers have trained with improv giants. They travel to courses all over the UK and Europe. The performance group has performed in improv shows across the country.

We're used to working with beginners, we have a very strong policy of support. In just a few short weeks you will find yourself becoming faster, more creative and more confident. If you want then you can go on to the public performances. If you don't then you're more than welcome to be audience. Either way you'll have met new people, trained your memory and your thinking skills, and had a brilliant, brilliant laugh.
