Come and join top UK cartoonist Annie Tempest at Reindeer Antiques for an exclusive evening viewing her new exhibition featuring the later life of Daffy and Dicky Tottering who appear weekly in Tottering-by-Gently – the phenomenally successful weekly strip cartoon in Country Life magazine. Annie will be on hand at the evening and will talk briefly about her work as a cartoonist.
Annie is a British artist, sculptor and cartoonist and her career began in 1985 with the success of her first book, How Green Are Your Wellies? This led on to a regular cartoon,’ Westenders’ in the Daily Express. She then moved to the Daily Mail where her cartoon strip ‘The Yuppies’ featured for more than seven years and for which she was awarded ‘Strip Cartoonist of the Year’ in 1989.
This will be a fun evening, and all original cartoons will be for sale.
