This programme is designed to help you ensure you have fully thought through and asked the right questions to assess the impacts on your subject area of the UK working with the EU and the rest of the world.
This is an opportunity to consider how the policy, commercial contracting and/or delivery may be affected, and to plan to reshape your work accordingly. The programme comprises several parts which encourage an active approach to the new situation. The aim is to develop your instincts to look widely at the implications across government of your subject area.
Who is the programme for?
● People working in policy development and delivery, commercial contracting and analysis.
● Staff who are required to advise on aspects of the UK’s new relationship with the EU and the rest of the world.
● Departmental analysts working on these aspects.
● Staff involved in decisions on commercial contracting.
Delegates should have at least an introductory level of international / EU knowledge, either by having taken the CSL Understanding the European Union blended learning topic or being involved in policies / work that have provided a baseline of knowledge.
When and where will it run?
The event will take place on Tuesday 16th March, 9.30am – 2.30pm (exact timings will be confirmed in the joining information). The virtual classroom will take place via Microsoft Teams.

As part of this learning, please note there will be:
• Pre learning preparation including EU foundation learning and the completion of a Pre-Workshop Questionnaire (approx. 2 hours)
• A 4-hour immersive workshop (with scheduled breaks) delivered over 1 day (Exact timings will be in the joining information issued before 16 March)
• A 2-hour follow-up group tailored coaching session to see how your application of knowledge has progressed in their work. (Date TBC).
