Based on her bestselling book, The Ultimate Guide to Tarot, Liz brings alive her wisdom in this upcoming set of engaging and inspiring live classes: six sessions, once per week from October 21 - November 25 2025, 10-11.30am (UK time).

Every session includes readings, reading techniques and spreads (card layouts) to try. Students practice reading for themselves or each other – whichever is preferred – in breakout rooms. The running time for each live session is 1.5 hours.

The Ultimate Tarot Six-Week Course: Advanced Beginner

You now have some foundational experience working with tarot, but what’s next? In these six weekly online classes you’ll consolidate and deepen your knowledge of the cards to continue to build your confidence, and intuition, as a tarot-card reader for yourself, friends and family.

This Level 2 Beginner course will focus on card themes to easily promote familiarity and deeper connection with the major and minor arcana cards. This level streamlines the 78 tarot cards into accessible groupings: love cards, money cards, change cards, travel cards, spiritual path cards and more. In this way, you will easily go deeper in the cards’ meanings, but without being overwhelmed by information. The readings you will be able to give yourself, family and friends will become more easily accurate, intuitive and rewarding.

You’ll also get plenty of reading practice and live feedback during this course. Whether you choose to read for yourself, or read for a partner, in breakout rooms, Liz will there to guide you every step of the way!

Your tutor Liz Dean is the author of 25 books and decks, including international bestsellers The Ultimate Guide to Tarot, The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Spreads, HBO’s Game of Thrones Tarot and The Magic of Tarot. Her latest book, Tarot By Numbers: Learn the Codes that Unlock the Meaning of the Cards, was published in 2022. She has taught at the Omega Institute, New York; in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney for the Tarot Guild of Australia; and at the London Tarot Conferences, amongst many other. She showcased Switchwords, a tarot and manifesting technique, at Readers Studio, New York, in 2016; in 2024 she presented a main stage Masterclass.
