About this event

Arts • Craft

A Zine is a small homemade magazine about anything you’re interested in. There are all kinds of Zines including: fanzines, comic zines, art zines, poetry zines, and personal zines where people write about their daily lives.

The content and appearance of a Zine is completely up to the creator and can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be, it's all about self-expression and creativity. During this session we will explore the importance of Zines and how we can use them to express our own art, ideas and share these interests with others. We will learn basic Zine making techniques and provide tools and resources for you to produce your own Zine. If you have a particular topic you would like to focus on you are welcome to bring your own resources.

Please note we will NOT be making digital Zines during these sessions.

12 spaces available per daily session (tickets are free but need to be claimed on our eventbrite page. Only book tickets for children taking part on the session, accompanying adults do not require a ticket.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
