We are delighted to welcome you to the University of Edinburgh. Your visit will last for approximately two hours. Please meet at the University of Edinburgh Visitor Centre just before the start time, and check in at reception.

Visits starting at 12 noon will begin with a student led campus tour, visits starting at 1pm will begin with an information session and be followed by a student led campus tour.

Our guided tour gives you an overview of the University of Edinburgh from someone who knows it best: one of our current students and they will be able to answer questions about studying at the University. You'll be taken around the George Square campus, where you'll get to see inside the main library, our students’ union buildings, and one of our lecture theatres (depending on availability during lectures and examinations). The tour doesn't include any visits to Schools, but your guide will point out all the University buildings on route and explain where subjects are based. Please note this tour does not include a tour of the King’s Buildings campus, which is where the College of Science and Engineering is located.

From 1-2pm there will be an information session hosted by a staff member from Edinburgh Global or Student Recruitment & Admissions. This presentation covers an introduction to Scottish Higher Education, the application process, accommodation options, fees and finance and student life amongst many other topics. You will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the session.

We look forward to meeting you and to welcoming you to the University of Edinburgh!
