IT Services at The University of Manchester has organised twelve interactive orientation sessions for Microsoft Teams, with places available for staff and postgraduate research students on a 'first come first served' basis.

The sessions will be run by Nic Clarke from Hable, an official Microsoft partner. The focus will be an introduction to Teams and how to make the most of it.

Each session will be for one hour with an additional 15 minutes set asides for Q&A.

Conversations in Teams, features (announcements, apps)
File storage and collaboration in documents
Managing settings, notifications

The sessions will be hosted on Teams and you'll be emailed the event link the day before it is due to take place. If you have problems or questions please email IT.Modernisation@manchester.ac.uk.

Don't worry if you can't make a date or they're sold out - one of them will be recorded and made available on StaffNet to watch in your own time.

There will also be a further opportunity to join a large scale 'Teams Live Event' on Thursday 17 September and Thursday 8 October 2020. Further details about these will be published to StaffNet in due course.
