The exhibition will be showcasing 5 paintings from Karolina Albricht's series 'The Unknown Land'. The works reflect on the role of nature in man’s life and its consequences on the changing face of 21st century landscape.
The show is curated by Lucia Bonadies. It will continue for 2 months, enough time to pop in and enjoy the paintings over a glass of superb wine from Vinarius.
Karolina Albricht was born in Cracow, Poland. Educated at the High School of Art inCracow, she also completed Socrates-Erasmus at ArtEZ Institute of Fine Arts in Arnhem,Holland in 2007. In 2008 she graduated with a Masters degree from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts.
Following her graduation she moved to London, where she currently resides and works.
She has exhibited across Europe and participated in many competitions including ArtGeminiPrize (Public Choice Award) and Arte Laguna Prize. She has been previously shorlisted or the Royal College of Art Summer Exhibition and the Threadneedle Prize.
