The UP and UPC – institutions and industry panel debate
After a period of Brexit-induced uncertainty, the UP and UPC loom large on the horizon again. In this exclusive event, AIPPI UK has invited speakers from the EPO (Michael Froehlich) and the UK IPO (Laura Starrs) to give an institutional perspective on what practitioners can expect when the new system comes into effect, what more remains to be done to get there, and how the institutions themselves are preparing for change. Nokia’s Tim Frain will give an industry perspective on what users are doing to prepare for the new system and what their hopes are, and moderator Alan Johnson (Bristows) will provide a private practice view whilst at the same time asking some searching questions of the panellists in what promises to be a lively and informative debate.
