The Oxford Club of Constructing Excellence is excited to invite you to the fifth event of our 2015 calender. Members and guests are cordially invited to the University of Reading to view and experience the use of BIM in a Collaborative Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE).
The CAVE is a £2 million state-of-the-art virtual environment that allows users to walk into a computer-generated world. It is part of the School of Systems Engineering's Visualisation and Interactive Technology Centre. The CAVE enables users to experience and interact with large built environments.
Dr Max Parfitt will demonstrate the technology and explain the objectives, progress and expected outcomes of the Universties development of BIM.
In addittion School of Construction Management and Engineering will briefly explan the new MSc course is in Information Management for Design Construction and Operation.

Oxford Club of Constructing Excellence
The Oxford Club of Constructing Excellence was established in 2000 and our members include clients in the local area, together with designers, consultants, contractors, academics, specialists and suppliers. Our aim is to enable joined up thinking between members of the construction industry and to establish Oxford as a centre of excellence in construction. We will be running events throughout the year to share industry knowledge and best practice and provide networking opportunities.
