“No numbers without stories, no stories without numbers”
Cranfield Trust masterclass on capturing and communicating your impact: 6th April 2017
The Cranfield Trust are delighted to be able to offer a free masterclass, kindly hosted by the Harpur Trust. Alice Dabrowska (Operations Manager) of The Cranfield Trust will present the class.
“People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it” said Dr Simon Sinek, a leading writer on impact. Voluntary organisations are clear about how they do things, but it’s often difficult to articulate why, and to present information in a way that makes the organisation’s effectiveness evident.
There is growing pressure from funders, donors and government for more and better impact information. Getting the right data – the numbers – and the right qualitative information – the stories – is critical to improving the way organisations work, helping to increase focus on key priorities.
Alice will suggest various approaches to evaluation, not only as evidence of impact but also to promote an organisational culture of continuous improvement.
Please arrive at 12:30pm for registration and coffee. The class will start promptly at 1.00pm. Alice and Ian Williams (Cranfield Trust Projects Manager) will look forward to welcoming you.
Date: 6th April 2017
Time: 12.30 – 4pm (including coffee at registration and networking)
Venue: Harpur Trust Office - Bedford.
"Cranfield Trust are an excellent resource, I regularly use the website and am a subscriber to HRNet, however, this was the first event I have been to and thought it was excellent and will really help me in leading my charity. I will await to hear about the next event, thanks."
