The Victoria Sewing Club is a community experience where you'll learn the basic skills of machine sewing, make new friends, whilst realizing simple projects like scrunchies of different size and style, and the basic blouse of Nani Iro Sewing Studio.You'll find sewing machines available (but you are welcome to bring your own if you want to familiarize with it better), plenty of scissors, pins, measuring tape, threads, all material except fabric. Bring your own fabric : you'll find fabric requirements for each project below.You can also upcycle your garments as well as vintage blankets, table cloths or bedding (as long as they are lightweight).

SCRUNCHIE GALORE: LEVEL BEGINNER -Learn how to make a scrunchie using a sewing machine.Fabric requirements: 1/8 yard or a fat quarter of 50 cm of fabric.Tips: if you a re a beginner, cotton lawn, lightweight cotton canvas, muslin, double gauze, linen are more suitable for you. Avoid stretchy fabric!

NANI IRO SEWING STUDIO - The basic BLOUSE 6LEVEL: BEGINNERLearn how to make The Basic Blouse 6 of Nani Iro Sewing StudioFabric needed: 41 in (104 cm) wide cotton sateen or linen fabric : S/M 2 yards -1.7 mL/XL 2 yards: 1.8 m.
