Distilled from the trail-worn pages of 450 notebooks, pages stained with mud, blood, flattened insects, beer glass rings, smears of plant juice and gallons of sweat, The View From the Hill is the culmination of 40 years of exploration. Following the changing seasons, Christopher takes us from a January sunrise on the Severn Estuary to a Christmas sunrise viewed atop a prehistoric burial mound, with many hundreds of wonderful walks in between.
