This 40 minute session explores water cycles and filtration with our experts from industry, Solenis.
About this event
This is a fun and engaging activity for students aged 9-12.
Meet the team from Solenis whose everyday work is concerned with water treatment and processes. They are going to help your class understand more about water cycles and filtration.
The session includes:
* A quiz - inventions connected to water
* A video tour of their factory hosted by an 11 year old
* A demonstration of flocculation - how their products work.
* An explanation of a filtration activity to do after the session, either at school or at home, using easy to obtain equipment. We will email you details of the activity including the resource requirements.
There will be plenty of opportunities for your class to ask questions via the chat/Q&A.
