Event description

Description

Following on from his acclaimed book British Voices (2012), Joe Hayman travelled across the UK talking to members of the public in the wake of the Brexit Vote. He found an insecure country, where divisions of class, culture and faith are not too far from the surface of everyday life.

Join us at The Young Foundation to discuss his new book 'British Journey' - exploring what he has found, what’s happened since Brexit and routes to building a stronger sense of community, shared identity and common values in the UK.

“No book could be more timely”
