We are delighted to be hosting our fourth annual in-person staff training day, this year kindly hosted at Emanuel School, Battersea. This event is open to all school staff and will provide insights and support for looking after your own wellbeing as well as practical tools for bringing wellbeing into the classroom.

Each ticket allows one individual access to all the talks, training, group discussions and an expert-led Q&A panel, as well as refreshments throughout the day and the opportunity for networking with colleagues.

All attendees will be able to request a CPD certificate for attendance.

Speaker Information:

Abby Osborne SFHEA - Abby has a background in curriculum and assessment design, curriculum transformation and inclusive teaching and learning. She currently works at the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Bath as their Assessment and Feedback Development Lead. Abby also works as an Inclusive Education Consultant, working with schools and education providers internationally to provide impactful guidance, resources and workshops for busy teachers. She has extensive experience of supporting students who are neurodivergent and has recently published two books on facilitating inclusive practice and student wellbeing within the classroom.

Dr Maryhan - A Psychologist, parenting expert, speaker and host of the globally successful How Not To Screw Up Your Kids podcast. For over 20 years Dr Maryhan has been supporting children with anxiety and helping parents raise confident, resilient children. Her practical approach has been hailed by parents, schools and organisations and earned her a reputation for straight-talking, non-judgemental, real advice.

James Stewart - James spent 15 years as a solicitor in London before retraining as a primary school teacher and becoming Head of Juniors at Westbourne House School for 10 years. Last year, he launched All Rise Workshops, delivering legal education workshops for Y4-Y13. James is passionate about bringing law into the curriculum and making sure young people leave school with an understanding of our legal system, how to access justice, rights and responsibilities, and the importance of the rule of law. His workshops provide an immersive introduction into law and include a full-blown crown court trial. James' workshops are engaging and hugely popular with pupils and pupils alike!

Alicia Drummond - Alicia is a BACP-accredited psychotherapist, parent coach, speaker, author and founder of The Wellbeing Hub. Alicia is passionate about providing evidence-based advice, support and resources to help parents, staff and pupils deepen their understanding of adolescence, and promote emotional health and wellbeing.
