You’ve heard of hacking computers, emails and electronics but what about hacking your body? Wellness Hacks are simple lifestyle tweaks that can improve the functioning of the body. Our aim is for you to thrive rather than survive.

We are on a mission to empower you with realistic and practical ‘wellness hacks’ which can impact your health, energy and state of mind in 2018. Come and join us for a series of relaxing and revitalising evenings where you will learn some powerful and practical techniques to support you in three key areas of your life.

In today’s modern world we often find that stress, sleep and weight management play a key role in our overall wellbeing. We have combined our skill sets to bring together three powerful evenings where you will learn how to deal with these fundamental areas in life. Wellbeing advice can often be too complicated, esoteric or overwhelming. We are here to simplify things, bring you back to basics and show you how to incorporate these powerful hacks into your busy lives.

We know that everyone has good intentions, especially in the New Year. However, we also know that these good intentions can be short lived or too overwhelming. Why not invest in your health and wellbeing in 2018.

This series is for you if:

  • You lead a stressful life and feel concerned about the impact on your brain and body

What to expect from the first evening - Wellness Hacks for Stress

  • A warm drink, cosy atmosphere and time to relax, learn, breathe and reboot
  • Gain insight into the physiology of stress and how this can impact on your body and mind
  • The different types of stress and how they impact on the body
  • The trajectory of prolonged stress in the body
  • The impact of stress on digestion, absorption and your body’s nutrient stores
  • How stress impacts on the immune system
  • Learn which nutrients to use to support your body’s response to stress
  • Understand what your personal breathing style is and how this impacts your life
  • Practice a simple yet powerful breathing technique reducing your stress level within minutes
  • Learn valuable Wellness Hacks to enable you to start improving your health from the root up!
  • To go home feeling great!!!


Subsequent evenings will follow a similar schedule but will focus on sleep and weight management and how we can support the body in these areas. Each evening builds onto the last to provide you with a sequential understanding and practical ‘wellness hacks’ in the areas of stress, sleep and weight management.

Our evenings will be held at the lovely and cosy Button Warehouse in Macclesfield and each ticket will include a warm drink and a gift that compliments the evening.

The first 18 people who purchase all three evenings at the discounted price of £45, will receive one month’s supply of Ashwaganda Plus by Wild Nutrition, to the value of £19.50. Ashwaganda is an Indian herb traditionally used to support the body’s resilience to physiological and psychological demand and has been found to be a very powerful and helpful support to the body, especially during periods of stress.

Individual tickets can be purchased in advance at £18 per evening. No tickets will be available on the door, as we would like to ensure that everyone gets a goodie bag. Please don’t delay purchasing to avoid disappointment.

What to expect from the evening about Sleep

  • Understand the value of sleep and the impact it has on your body and mind
  • Look at the role of light and how this impacts on our Circadian Rhythm
  • The impact of prolonged insomnia
  • Understand how diet and lifestyle impact on sleep
  • Identify strategies to support sleep
  • Look at specific nutrients that impacts on sleep
  • Building on from session one, this session will focus on understanding the relationship between your breathing style and sleep and how to use your breathing to:
  • Turn off the chatter at bedtime
  • How to get back to sleep in the middle of the night
  • How to give your body several moments of calm through the day resulting in better sleep at night
  • How to survive sleep deprivation!

What to expect from the evening about Weight Management

  • Understand the role of cortisol and its impact on weight
  • Look at the role of your microbiome and the impact it has on your health
  • Consider the types of foods which are more suitable to weight management
  • Identify which nutrients can support cravings and weight management
  • In our final session of the series we will build on your strong foundations as 'breathing experts' to explore the relationship between our breathing style and weight management. We will focus on:
  • The physiology of diaphragmatic breathing and digestion
  • How to use breathing to get through weight loss plateau
  • Breathing for energy, vitality and endurance
