The Westerly Trio

We are very pleased to welcome back this accomplished trio to the Old Low Light Heritage Centre, as part of our programme of autumn and winter classic music events. They last performed here a year ago.

Once again, we are grateful to Whitley Bay musicians, David and Jennifer Murray, who have worked with us for several years, bringing first rate classical music to the centre.

On this occasion, David Murray will be playing the piano as part of the trio, with Rachel Jeffers (flute) and Jessica Graham (violin).

They will present a lovely mix of repertoire from Baroque to 20th century, a refreshing blend of music and lovely textures by composers including Handel (Violin Sonata), Prokofiev (Cinq Melodies), Mel Bonis (Trio), Bach (Trio Sonata in G) and Cui (Cinq Piéces).
