Event Details

Liz Bryan is Director of Education and Training at St Christopher’s and is a leading figure in driving the national development of hospice-based education and training. Her particular focus is on designing and evaluating programmes
of learning that have sustained impact on practice. Liz worked in the Faculty for 12 years, supporting the delivery of evidence-based palliative and end of life care education.

The aim of the workshop is to:
 - to highlight evidence of the causes, location and experience of end of life
care in the UK with reference to other parts of the world also,
- to present some observations of the challenges to nursing,
- to offer recommendations for future nurse training.

Refreshments will be provided.
