THE WHOLE FAMILY APPROACH TO DEMENTIA
Carers Count and Kirklees Dementia Action Alliance (KDAA) would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday 16th May at 1.00pm-4.30pm at the Lakeside restaurant, Ponderosa, Heckmondwike for this exciting event.
This event aims to bring professionals from health, social care and the voluntary sector together to be united across Kirklees. To develop knowledge of the services available to support those having concerns around memory, those living with dementia and all carer support.
UNITED AGAINST DEMENTIA
We will hear from Andrew Haigh who talks about life as a carer.Chair & Non Executive Director, Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust
This will be followed by the Curtain's up players performing 'Seeking Joan' who will share experience and knowledge on how to live well with dementia and support for carers.
We will also be showcasing key services and organisations who offer information, advice and support in the Kirklees area.
A great event to learn about how we can work together, network, make new contacts and improve understanding of services available across Kirklees.
It's vital that we support the whole family together and be united to work as one across Kirklees. Only you can make this happen so please book early so you don't miss the opportunity.
Tickets are free. Look forward to seeing you at the event.
