Event description
An opportunity for parishes, schools and projects to pause, reflect on their work during covid19, and discern the next steps together.

About this event

As staff and volunteers in parishes, schools and projects you are working at the frontline of your communities, providing basic help and food relief, and emotional and spiritual support to those who need it.

It is essential, though, to take time to pause; to reflect on and celebrate the work that has been done, before we move forward with our gift of service. And in this month which begins with the feast of St Joseph the Worker, it's especially good to reflect on the value we receive from our work, and give to other workers.

And it is important to do this reflection in the light of the values and calls of Catholic Social Teaching, and see to what extent these values are evident in how we plan and deliver our services.

In this workshop we will use our Love In Action resource to deepen our understanding of the Catholic Social Teaching theme of DIGNITY OF WORK. Using See-Judge-Act we will aim to help you discern your way forward during the Covid recovery phase.

Together we will recognise our work to date, understand what is happening in our communities, and agree the actions going forward.

Attendees can use the materials from this workshop to complete the same exercise in their parish, school or project.

Once you've registered on Eventbrite, an email with the Zoom link invitation will be sent to you shortly afterwards.
