The Windsor Boys' School Boat Club Alumni Dinner on 29th October at the Castle Hotel in Windsor aims to connect the Alumni to the current club, including the athletes, coaches and supporters. In this way we can help to ensure the future of the club is strong. By engaging the rowers, friends and families from the past to support the WBSBC of today our aim is to provide what is needed not only for the current rowers, but also for the generations of WBSBC athletes to come.

This very special evening will see many generations coming together and enjoying a memorable occasion. The story of WBSBC is really inspiring and everyone connected to the club is part of the story.
WBSBC - More than just another state school boat club; the history, the success and the inclusion of as many boys as possible makes it really stand out in a very competitive field. WBSBC is a place that current boys and their families, Old Boys and Old Boys parents really feel proud to be a part of.
In 2016/2017 the aim is to really move this on to a new level. The goal is simple. To raise money for equipment, and to involve as many people as possible. As a registered charity, fundraising is critcal to our ongoing survival and development.
This year we are really looking to engage with the Alumni and add their support to the Boat Club as we continue to strive to compete at the highest level. We want to share the excitement of watching the current boys on the water, performing as they have at Henley Royal Regatta, National Schools Regatta, Great Britain squads, Gent, and of course the local racing circuit.
The challenge is to raise money towards a top quad and a top eight, with blades for both. The aim is for these boats to be racing at all the top events, particularly the the high profile and highly visible Henley Royal Regatta which is now broadcast live and has huge exposure that reaches far beyond the rowing community. Another benefit to new equipment at the top is that all the boys get better equipment as the current equipment filters down. Better equipment means less limitations to their ability to get out and race - it simply comes down to their training and ability.
It would be fantastic for the Alumni to come together and really connect with the club. Perhaps in 2017 an Alumni purchased boat can be seen racing at Henley Royal Regatta on TV.
