Amanda Skinner from Private Cellar will be coming to join us for this workshop - she will be bringing some exceptional wines. A workshop not to be missed!
During a career of over thirty years Amanda has spent many happy days in the vineyards of Burgundy and during this time has got to know some of the region’s leading producers. This masterclass will kick off with a glass of Crémant, made in Burgundy in the Méthode Champenoise. Amanda will then introduce three whites and three reds from six of her favourite growers – taking you from just south of Chablis to Pouilly Fuissé, via Nuits St Georges, Vosne Romanée, Pommard and Meursault - sharing her understanding of what contributes to their flavours, characters, reputations and drinkability. Amanda is a keen educator and enjoys de-mystifying wine and sharing her knowledge and love of this tantalizing liquid. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase these wines as a special offer on the evening.
During the tasting, we’ll have a break for some delicious cheese and charcuterie.
