Is there any parking?

There is no designated parking at Priory Barn. Car parking spaces may be available on Newtown, and perhaps further south-west on Belcombe Road. Pay and Display car parking is available in St Margaret’s car park and at the railway
station, both of which are less than 10 minutes’ walk.

Question 2

Is the venue accessible?

There are two large stone steps up into the venue. The toilets and kitchen are located on the ground floor. Our event takes place on the first floor up a staircase with a handrail. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please send an email to thewisdomspace@gmail.com

Question 3

Can I pay on the door?

We ask for all tickets to be booked through eventbrite so that we can manage capacity and ensure that all event communications are received. All tickets are donation based but you are welcome to message us directly if you prefer to pay by cash.

Why is this donation based?

Accepted Answer

We run as a non-profit and want to ensure that our events are as accessible as possible. We do not aim to make big profits or put lots of bums on seats. Instead, we aim to cover our costs sustainably and create transformational spaces for meaningful connection and community.

Question 5

Can I have more than one drink?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have included at least one welcome drink in the ticket price. If we break, there is the opportunity to top up your glass / cup.

Question 6

Why can't I buy more than one ticket at a time?

Accepted Answer

This is the way Eventbrite have programmed donation-based tickets. It prevents people from booking all of the tickets and paying nothing.

Question 7

What time do I arrive?

We say to arrive from 7.15pm but you're welcome to come from 7pm if you would like to spend some more time meeting others and settling into the space.  We're a friendly bunch so you'll be greeted by smiling faces whenever you choose to arrive.
