The Like Me CIC is proud to host The Women Like Me L&B Conference 2022: ‘Rise & Shine Queen’, an all-day women’s Conference, available to attend live online.

#TWLMLBC is an event designed to celebrate women, share stories and experiences of overcoming abuse and more, encourage empowerment and rejoice in being the queens that we are.

The last two years have been very difficult for many women, physically, mentally. emotionally and economically. For some, the difficulties started long before. Stories of abuse, historical or current, are frequent. Domestic abuse is being recognised as a major issue with year on year increases in the number of cases reported. However, in spite of all these challenges, pain and trauma, we have proved how resilient we can be, and now it’s our time to...rise and shine like the queens we are. Join us as we refuse to be defined and limited by what we've been through.

!!What to Expect on the Day!!

Women from all backgrounds and experiences are welcomed and encouraged to attend as we are so much more powerful when we come together.

Doors open at 9.30am, with the conference starting at 10am. The conference finishes at 5pm with doors closing at 5.30pm. During the course of the day the conference offers a variety of:
