Description

This is the premiere of the film about the Women's Peace Crusade in East Lancashire in 1917-1918 which features archive footage and contemporary scenes in Blackburn, Manchester and Nelson.

The book 'Crusading Women' will be launched.

This book covers the research in Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Oldham, Burnley Rochdale and Nelson, highlighting radical women in each town. It will be available to buy.

There will be talks by the researchers and a chance to handle archive material.
