Event description

Description

Calling all Woofits and their humans!

Please come and take part in our charity 5km dog walk in support of The Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub on Sunday 28 April, starting from the beautiful hospice grounds in Nettlebed.

For all the family and dog lovers out there, let’s raise as much as we can for an amazing cause and charity.

By joining us on this special day you can help us raise vital funds needed for the Sue Ryder to continue providing care for local people and their loved ones at the most difficult time of their lives.

Why your sponsorship is so important:

We would love to encourage you to raise additional individual sponsorship. For example, just £60 could provide one session of bereavement counselling for people and families struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.

If you are taking part as a family or team, we encourage you to raise £140, as this could fund one of our hospice nurses for a day.

All the expert care and facilities are absolutely free of charge, any funds you raise will ensure that these crucial local services are maintained.

What to expect:

*Adult tickets £10 (16+ years old)

*Under 16's walk for free

*Free refreshment with every ticket and of course a piece of cake, donations always welcome! : )

*A raffle and auction with amazing prizes! Don't forget your purse/wallet!

*Doggy stalls selling lovely treats and products

*Take away a memorable photo of you and your pooch in our doggy photo booth (minimum donation applies)

Everyone welcome! It will be a pawesome day!
