From 1500 when Wynkyn de Worde brought his printing press to Fleet Street through to the 1980s this street was home to an ever growing printing industry culminating in it becoming home to almost the entire national journalism industry.
The newspapers may have moved onto more modern sites but some of their buildings and the pubs where the journalists gathered along with churches and other historical sites for us to explore.
