Event description
A free training workshop offering practical advice and guidance to help you be a better leader

About this Event

Attend this free, 90 minute session for practical advice to help you develop your leadership skills and find out what you should be doing in order to succeed.

The session will cover:

  • The role of the leader

Whether you’re new to your leadership position or you’ve been in the role for a number of years, what is it that makes a great leader? How do you define your core responsibilities and achieve your business goals?

  • Distinguishing between leadership and management

Taking the step from manager to leader may not be as clear as it seems. Leaders influence and inspire, giving them the opportunity to transform businesses and achieve targets effectively.

  • Carving out time for leadership

With 60% of frontline managers failing within their first two years in the role, can you afford to not work on your leadership skills?

Professional development is crucial in being the best leader that you can possibly be and it’s an ongoing process throughout your career.

This session will be delivered by Dianne Sharp, CEO of The Leadership Academy. With over 30 years of experience in and managing SME businesses across a range of sectors, Dianne has a strong track record of growing and developing businesses domestically and internationally.
