About this event

This session will introduce “The Work that Reconnects” as formulated by Joanna Macy in her book “Coming back to Life”. In this workshop, we will use experiential exercises to explore our responses to the current planetary crisis. In doing this, we may discover a deeper sense of connection to the world around us, which can guide and energise us as we work to protect the natural world and to find more sustainable ways of living. This workshop will include another chance to take part in a Council of All Beings.

The session will be led by Anna McIvor, who has been leading “The Work that Reconnects” workshops for over 10 years. She is currently chair of Transition Cambridge, a local community group helping Cambridge make the transition to more sustainable ways of living.
