Event description

Description

Background: According to the 2015-2016 Global Entrepreneurship report, over half of discontinued businesses halted operations due to lack of profits or financial funding. Business owners frequently underestimate how much money will be needed to fund operations. At the same time, they can overestimate how quickly their products and services will catch on in the marketplace.

Sales cycles, customer retention or the marketing strategy might be important topics to consider when structuring a business plan, but at the same time, one's background, mindset or lifestyle is equally important when deciding to start a new business venture.

In this series of events we will adopt the rapid prototyping process for applying the responsive writing framework to some of the most pressing social issues. This allows us to develop a useful tool for social change and to also become the co-authors of a brief responsive book on entrepreneurial awareness.

By signing up to this activity, you agree to:

• Actively engage in the writing process (1.000 words/month).

• Provide relevant support to other members for developing their work.

• Attend most of our group meetings for the following three months.

• Join a private slack channel for keeping this project on track.

• Publish our work on the ResponsivEbooks platform.

This session will be led by Cristian A. Nica, chartered clinical psychologist with more than eight years’ experience in providing psychological services.

He is the London chapter leader of the nonfiction authors association, and developed the ResponsivEbooks™ project out of his passion for community engagement. He is also the founder of Gain Ownership, an evidence-based platform for mental strength, better health and life fulfillment, helping individuals and organizations bringing life at reach through the sense of ownership.

This is a closed group and at least four members are required in order for the project to move forward. If this requirement is not met, the first meeting will be rescheduled for 18 November, so if you are really keen to participate, please keep this date free in your diary.

Please note, the ticket is only a one-off fee and you won't be required to pay for any subsequent meetings.

More organisational details about the online event will be provided privately to attendees. If you have any other questions, please do get in touch.
