The Writers Workshop End of Year Celebration

Let's celebrate!

2025 has been a big year for The Writers Workshop and our amazing community. Join us in celebrating all the brilliant writing you have done this year and looking forward to 2026.

For this extra special evening, you are our guest writers! We're hosting a mega open-mic and inviting you to share an excerpt of your favourite piece of writing from 2025.

We'll also be sharing a sneak preview of what's to come in 2026, so you won't want to miss this!

To secure an open-mic slot, get an 'Open Mic' ticket. If the Open Mic tickets have sold out, email harley@thewritersworkshop.co.uk to be added to the reserve list (in case we have no-shows or more time on the night). Slots are 3 minutes each.

This edition of Sounds About Write is FREE to attend! But donations are always welcome: all proceeds will support our work to improve access to our programme and celebrate our city's writing talent.
