What to Expect
Join Brighton author and yoga teacher Sophie Tanner for a unique six-week course blending yoga philosophy with creative writing practice.
Each 90-minute session begins with grounding meditation and breathwork, moves into guided writing prompts and reflective exercises, and closes with gentle stretches to ease “writer’s hunch” and bring balance back to the body. You’ll leave each week with inspiring take-home practices to keep your creativity flowing between sessions.
Together, we’ll explore yogic principles such as Ahimsa (self-compassion), Satya (authentic voice), and Santosha (contentment) to help you quiet the inner critic, trust your words, and rediscover joy in the process of writing.
You don’t need to be a yogi or a published writer, just bring a notebook, an open mind, and the willingness to play on the page. This is a supportive, welcoming environment for anyone seeking inspiration, balance, and flow.
