An exciting and informative day out for young people aged 16-25 to hear from St Basils MIND Champions, explore relationships between young people and West Midlands Police and attend workshops covering:

In addition there will be:
A free buffet lunch will be provided with Tea, Coffee & cold Drinks available throughout the day
Key organisations showcasing career opportunities for young people with the Police, Mental Health, NHS, Fire Service and more.
A free mobile crèche for the young mums will be available
We'll finish the day with Five A Side Football, Zumba dance, Table Tennis, Pool, Music

St Basils MIND Champions
The St Basils MIND 'Up My Street' 2 Year pilot programme has seen in excess of fifty young men of African Caribbean background participate in the activities and workshops that were organised to promote positive mental health resilience amongst Young African Caribbean Men aged 16-25 . From the group of participant three young men have gone on to become champions of the pilot programme. Each of them have benefited in their own unique way and new doors of opportunity have been awarded them. They have organised this Young Peoples Workshop to share with their peers how they have benefited from being engaged on the programme. The St Basils MIND 'Up My Street'Champions are:
