Description

This year theGIST's Science for Society conference is all about The Future of Cities. With a mixture of academics, policy makers, politicians, people in industry, and members of the public we hope to generate a lively discussion throughout the evening.

All are welcome to attend this event but be quick to reserve your seats as spaces are limited. We are asking for a small ticket fee to try and avoid people booking tickets and then not showing up. The fee will be spent on refreshments for the evening.

For more information see www.the-GIST.org/conference.

Organised by

Glasgow Insight into Science and Technology (theGIST) is a science magazine and network based at the University of Glasgow and the University Strathclyde. With over 100 contributors, we produce regular articles, videos and podcasts, we set up workshops and seminars, and we publish a printed magazine. We consist mainly of undergraduates and postgraduates but also welcome members of staff. Our continued goal is to communicate science and technology clearly, accurately and passionately.
