What will this course cover?
The themes for this course draw from artefacts depicting observed and imaginative aspects of the natural world and those that live in it, the landscapes and animals. The visual enjoyment in the course draws from artefacts produced over five continents and from a period of thousands of years, with particular attentions to paintings and sculptures.
What will I get out of this course?
You will gain a deeper understanding of the natural world and how art is used to present it. Furthermore, you will join an engaging tutor and motivated class discussion, exploring various techniques and artists throughout the ages.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills or experience?
This is an entry level course and while you don't need any particular skills/experience, an interest in nature and animals is recommended.
What do I need to bring with me?
No equipment is needed, but you may wish to bring a notepad and pen to write down your thoughts.
