Theology Ireland - Saturday seminar
Event Information
About this Event
IT HAS BEEN CLAIMED THAT THE KORAN AND THE BIBLE ARE, SIMPLY, “TWO BOOKS, ONE AUTHOR”.
In saying this, the speaker implied that both books’ portrayal of God were essentially the same, that it there is no real difference between the two religions (Islam and Christianity) and that whilst her particular preference was better, essentially both were true and right.
In a world of many different religious opinions, which is right? Or are they all just different expressions of the same thing? What are we to do, think and say in the increasingly diverse religious landscape in 21st Century Ireland? This bonus session will delve more deeply into the issues.
10am - 1pm (£5 - if you're not booked into another Theology Ireland course)
