Event description

Description

Partnership for Young London is offering targeted support to voluntary and community sector organisations with a particular remit to improve outcomes for young people who are amongst lower achieving groups in terms of education training and employment. These include young people from the following ethnic groups: Black Caribbean, Bangladeshi, Black African, Pakistani, Gypsy/Roma, Traveller, Black/White Caribbean, Black/White African, those from refugee communities.

The Theory of Change model supports the strategic planning of projects by enabling organisations to:

  • Map the intended outcomes of their initiatives

  • Identify the most appropriate activities to reach their proposed outcomes

  • Examine causal links

The session will look at the context for the youth and community sector having more robust systems for impact measurement. Participants will learn about the basic principles of the theory of change model and create a theory of change for their own projects/organisations. The training offered is a day and free to attend.

If you want to know a bit more about the theory of change, Centre for Youth Impact is a useful start. Follow the link here
