Description

The Faculty will be hosting a seminar on the 14th of March 2019 with Judge Ginger Lerner-Wren, and Judge Victoria Pratt.

Judge Lerner-Wren, is an American judge of the USA’s first Mental Health Court dispensing therapeutic justice and author of "A Court of Refuge", who is coming to Scotland on the 9th - 15th March for a series of talks about her approach and comparative justice.

Judge Victoria Pratt from New Jersey, has given a TED talk on procedural justice, and has featured in a Guardian article about the success of her approach of involving the accused in the courtroom rather than speaking over their head to prosecution and defence teams.

This event has been accredited with 2 Hours Substantive Law CPD.
